Having just written and published his first successful novel, Merlin Emrys is a newcomer to the world of 19th century London socialites. Some enthusiastically welcome his creativity and artistry to the elaborate dinners and parties of the elite; others are not so accepting. Arthur Pendragon, heir to the old fortune of Camelot Railway & Co., does not appreciate Merlin’s sudden appearance, his decidedly loose morals, or his quick-witted tongue. That is, until he unknowingly reads (and adores) Merlin’s novel.
